Originally from Cambodia and a long time Swiss resident, Bonny B. is a remarkable singer and great harp player, deeply rooted in the blues tradition. He has performed and recorded with numerous American blues artists including Bob Margolin, Sugar Blue and Bob Stroger. As well as the blues, his music has a strong gospel influence and his powerful performances convey a deep sense of authenticity, virtuosity and emotional intensity. As in 2023, Bonny B. will be accompanied by the LiveWires.

9.30pm  Steve Baker & the LiveWires

Festival director Steve Baker’s performance in 2024 will showcase material from his three solo albums Perfect Getaway (2018), The Great Divide (2020) and Too Much Is Never Enough (2023). In this mainly acoustic line-up with guitar, bass and percussion, his unmistakeable melodic harmonica style is seamlessly integrated into his thoughtful songwriting, mixing influences from blues, folk, rock, funk and country to create an exciting and highly individual fusion. One of the great harp players, taking his music into new places!
