Registration and admission

A registration for in-service training courses or multi-phase continuing education courses is valid for the entire course or all work phases of a continuing education course. The registration becomes binding only with the receipt of full payment.

Change or cancellation before the start of a course
The Hohner Conservatory reserves the right to cancel a course at short notice or to postpone the start if demand is too low. The same applies to course cancellations due to the absence of a lecturer or due to force majeure (e.g. due to a pandemic). In these cases, participants will not be charged. Amounts paid in advance will be refunded in full.

Participants must pay for any bank charges or transfer fees themselves. Participants will receive a confirmation of receipt of the participation fees in written form (e-mail). With this confirmation, the interested party is bindingly registered.
With the registration, the participation fee or the separately stated registration fee must be paid. This makes your registration binding.
The Conservatory reserves the right to assign the seminar place to someone else if the registration fee has not been received in time.

Cooperative events with other institutions may deviate from this regulation. In this case, the conditions of the respective institution apply.

Accommodation
The Hohner Conservatory does not provide accommodation; it is not possible to book overnight accommodation through the Conservatory. However, the Hohner Conservatory can provide recommendations and assistance in finding accommodation.

Deregistration
Cancellation must be made in writing. The date of cancellation is the date of receipt by mail.
The participation fee must be paid in full even if individual events or parts of training courses are not attended or missed.

Cancellation fees:
The following cancellation conditions apply to the Harmonica Masters Workshops:
A cancellation fee, based on the participation fee, will be charged according to the following rates:
– up to 90 days before the start of the event free of charge
– from 90 days to 30 days before the start of the event 20 % of the participation fees
– from 30 days to 8 days before the start of the event 80 % of the participation fees
– thereafter 100 % of the participation fees

For all other offers of the Hohner-Konservatorium (such as online trainings, workshops, etc.) the following cancellation conditions apply:
A cancellation fee, based on the participation fee, will be charged according to the following rates:
– up to 14 days before the start free of charge
– from 14 days to 2 days before the event 50 % of the participation fee
– From 1 day before the event 100 %.

Data protection
The Hohner Conservatory collects personal data with the registration and processes it to fulfill its tasks. The participant agrees to the automatic storage of his/her data. In order to enable participants to form car pools, addresses and telephone numbers will be passed on to participants within a training course, unless this procedure is objected to. Further use of course materials must be agreed with the instructor of the respective workshop or training.

Liability
The Hohner Conservatory assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage or financial loss, except in cases of gross negligence on the part of the Hohner Conservatory. Damage and contamination to the building, premises, equipment and musical instruments caused by participants will be charged to them.

Reservation of use
Participants transfer to the Hohner Conservatory the right to use the results of work produced in the respective courses, training courses, workshops, etc.

Miscellaneous
The framework examination regulations of the Hohner Conservatory are part of the General Terms and Conditions.

Sound and image recordings are only permitted after consultation with the participants and instructors of the individual events of the Hohner Conservatory. The Hohner-Konservatorium reserves the right to create audio and visual material for the purpose of documentation or public relations.

Sound and image recordings of examinations are generally prohibited.

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of the Hohner Conservatory due to legal regulations.
The house rules of the Hohner Conservatory are binding for the participant.
