This very special acoustic jam originated at the SPAH festival in the USA. Participants sit in a rough circle and take turns to play, with guitar accompaniment. Each player gets one chorus to strut their stuff, while everyone else listens. The songs are mostly blues standards and it’s always interesting to hear how different people approach the same tune. This highly popular acoustic jam offers a great way for players to come together.

Onstage Session with
Steve Baker & Band
Start: 10pm •  Kulturfabrik Kesselhaus / Trossingen

In 2023 session accompaniment will be provided by Steve’s acoustic band. Players who want to perform on stage are requested to sign up and everybody gets to play one number of their choice. The band features Jeff Walker on bass, Robert Carl Blank on guitar and Yogi Jockusch on percussion, and will also be backing up several of the instructors on their concert appearances. Participants have a great opportunity to perform with top class professional accompanists and show what they can do in front of a knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience.
